The University of Oulu ( is an international research and innovation university engaged in multidisciplinary research and academic education. UOULU strategy has five focal areas one of which is Digital solutions in sensing and interactions. The Centre for Wireless Communications (CWC) is a large university-based research unit operating within the Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering mastering of future wireless communications from a myriad of requirements to potential technological solutions within the university strategic spearhead. The objective of CWC is to provide a widely recognized, high-quality international research and learning environment for its more than one hundred research active members enabling the production of cutting edge  research results and novel innovations in cooperation with its research partners. In all its activities, CWC strives towards rapidly reacting to changes occurring in its operational environment as well as to the expectations and needs expressed by its national and global research partners.
